YOUNG ADULT
Our Young Adult Ministry here at New Hope consists of primarily two groups.
COLLEGE & CAREER
One group consists of young single adults from ages 18 to 24, College & Career. We desire to be a people in relationship to God through His Son, Jesus. We desire to declare that loving, Christ-centered relationship to everyone. We also, desire to disciple a new generation of Christian leaders by meeting them where they are and helping them take the next step of maturing in Christ. We believe this can be accomplished by doing compassionate acts of love and kindness to all we come in contact with, especially those who are in need. The focal passage of our ministry is Col. 1:27-29…. “Christ is in you, therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less.” (“The Message” Bible)

NEXTGEN
The other group is young adults from 25 to 34 years old. In this group there are both married & unmarried, with & without children. This group also encompasses singles in this age range. We call this group NEXTGEN Ministry. Our purpose focuses on declaring the love of God, discipling other young adults by meeting them where they are spiritually and helping them take their next step, and doing acts of compassion to everyone we come in contact with, but particularly those who are less fortunate. The focal verse of this group is “I will declare Your name, from generation to generation.” Psalm 45:17.
