NORTH CAMPUS: The Kingdom Books: Amazing Collection (Women’s Class)
North Campus: Room A126-128
January 25 – March 8
In The Kingdom Books, we will see that God is a Promise Keeper. He had indeed given His people the land He had promised them, but the land was under the control of the Canaanites. The land was rich and fertile, but the inhabitants were fierce, experience warriors. It would have been an impossible mission had not the God of the universe, the all-powerful One, been on their side. The Kingdom Books, Joshua through 2 Kings, include the conquering of the land, the ruling of the judges, and the uniting and the dividing of the kingdom. These books end with Israel conquered and scattered and Judah destroyed and exiled. Throughout the pages of The Kingdom Books you will com face-to-face with men and women of great courage resulting from great faith. In these books, you will get a glimpse of men and women as they walked and sometimes struggled with God. Don’t miss the courage and devotion of men such as Joshua, Caleb, Gideon, Samuel, David, and Hezekiah. And pay special attention to those gallant women who made a great difference in their world: Rahab, Deborah, Ruth, Hannah, and Abigail. Great lessons can also be learned from those whose lives were not so sterling, such as Samson, Saul, and Jezebel.
