St. John (US Virgin Islands) Mission Trip
We are excited for the opportunity to do missions at St. John. Below is the important information regarding this trip:
Mission Activities: We will be working with our partner in ministry, Pastor Wilson (Wally) Wallace to expand outreach by ministering to children and families through the church FreshWater Church. Our main activities center around the annual Carnival in St. John. We build Christ centered relationships with individuals, families through prayer, evangelism & preparing the area designated for our Children’s Village during Carnival.
Ground Trip Cost: $1,200.00-1,300.00 approx. per person for land costs. This includes villa, van rental, gas & t-shirt. Does not include flight, taxi, ferry and food.
Info Meeting: February 5, 12:45 PM at the North Campus Mission Center
Deadlines: March 1 – All Adult Applications with non-refundable deposit of $100.00 must be submitted
– Online Payments: available at wwwnewhopebc.org – under “Give; Guest or member; Other”. Be sure to designate the payment for St. John Mission trip and your name so credit will go towards your account.
– Checks: (payable to NHBC – memo St. John Mission Trip) can be mailed to Marion Ferencz
Passport: If you don’t have one, apply for one now. If you do have one, check to see that your expiration date is at least 6 months after the date of departure. A passport copy needs to be given to Marion
