Kids Ministry

Building The Future

New Hope Kids Ministry exists to encourage a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Every week, through Bible Study, Kids Worship, Missions and activities, kids are taught the truth of God’s Word, challenged to live by it and encouraged to share it with others! Along with our Kids Ministry Staff, an army of awesome Volunteers gather every week to pray, teach and assist in leading our Kids Ministry! We want every child to know that God created them for a purpose.

We offer Worship Care for Babies through Kindergarten during our Worship Service. Kids in grade 1 through 6 attend the Worship Service with their parents.

Resources

We believe that spiritual growth is best developed in the home. Kids are bombarded with an onslaught of culture these days, and we are passionate about equipping parents to disciple their kids to be counter-cultural and Gospel-minded. You can find some of our recommended resources below:

NEW HOPE KIDS FAQ

Where do I Park?

NORTH CAMPUS: Our North Campus is a very large campus and we encourage preschool families to park in our designated Preschool lot off of Neely Road. Coming from Highway 314 or Highway 92, turn right onto Neely Road and make an immediate left into our Preschool parking lot. Enter the building through the doors to the right of the covered walkway. Our check in volunteers will be happy to assist you with signing in and finding the right class for your preschooler!

Do you have a Nursing Room?

NORTH CAMPUS: Yes! Our nursing room is located inside the Preschool area near our baby and toddler rooms. This comfortable and quiet space allows you to feed your baby before, during or after their time with us in the baby room. Our preschool classrooms and nursing room are located on the second floor of Building A.

SOUTH CAMPUS: Yes, we do! Our nursing room is located within the church offices and a “Nursing Room” sign is displayed on the door.

Where do my Children go during the Worship Service?

At both our North and South Campuses, we offer age appropriate classes for Babies through Kindergarten. Preschoolers are taught age and developmentally appropriate Bible lessons and recreational activities. Preschoolers remain in our preschool area rooms during Worship and Family Group times. Snacks are provided.

Kids in grade 1 through 6 attend the Worship Service with their parents.

What happens during the Family Group hour?

At both our North and South Campuses, our Kids Ministry Family Groups provide children with a basic understanding of God, God’s plan for their life, and how to discover biblical principles for everyday living.

Preschool and Kids Ministries use The Gospel Project, which is a three-year chronological study through the Bible with age-appropriate learning activities. Birth through 6th Grade are on the same learning schedule.

What is the Security Process for Check-in/Out?

At both our North and South Campuses, before entering our Preschool area, we ask that all parents fill out a security form and then check in to receive a security tag. Each family will receive a matching security tag with all kids’ names on it that will be requested at pick up. For your child’s safety, we will NOT release your child to anyone without their matching security tag. Siblings must be at least 15 years old to pick up a younger child.
