The Faithful – Heroes of the Old Testament By – Priscilla Shirer, Kelly Minter, Beth Moore, Jennifer Rothschild, Lisa Harper – is a 5 week study of four men (Gideon, Nehemiah, Hosea, Malachi) and one woman (Esther) from the Old Testament who trusted in God, the true faithful One, to fulfill His promises to them. Each are included in the eleventh chapter of the book of Hebrews, in the “Hall of Faith”, as individuals whose stories point to the faithfulness of our God. He is good, He is sovereign, He is wise, He is faithful.

The group will be led by Shad Genovese and Jeff Meredith. Shad has a bachelor’s degree in English, Creative writing, and has been teaching Literature at Starr’s Mill for the last 20 years. Jeff is a professional copywriter and published author. We both love the art of writing and its ability to share truth through literature. In this class, we will explore topics that will establish a firm foundation regarding some of the most important topics of a solid Christian worldview. If you have struggled with doubts or simply want to cultivate a worldview that is grounded in reality then come join the conversation that will help you navigate a wild culture. Topics that we will be discussing are, “What is truth?”, How can we be confident that God exists?”, “How do we know Jesus is God?”, and “Is the Bible trustworthy and reliable?”. This is a time to discuss, ask questions, and seek the truth together.
